August 25th Primary Runoff Edition
This voter guide includes profiles on all state and federal primary runoff elections in Oklahoma, along with information about State Questions 844 and 846. We have provided clickable links within each candidate profile to direct you to websites and social media accounts which will provide you with public resources to help with your own independent research. We encourage you to reach out to candidates directly if you have questions not answered by this voter guide.

Oklahoma Has the Worst Voter Turnout in the United States.
In 2020 and 2024, Oklahoma had the lowest voter turnout in the country. Oklahomans are not voting - and when they do, most of them are missing the most important election that determines who is (or is not) representing them - the Summer Primary Elections.
Only 1 in 4 eligible voters cast their ballots in the June Primary Election - August runoffs are often decided by an even smaller turnout - and when turnout drops, every vote carries even more weight.
Voters who remember to show up can carry enormous power.
Because turnout is traditionally so low, your vote REALLY matters in this one. Last cycle, multiple legislative races were decided by LESS THAN 5 VOTES.
This August 25th, Oklahoma voters will help decide major statewide races, including Governor and State Superintendent, plus 2 state questions, several legislative races, and a numerous amount of local issues and school bonds.
The June primary sent a message: Oklahomans that support public schools are paying attention.
The August runoff is where we prove it.
Key races have been sent into overtime - August 25th is a crucial day to vote.
The Majority of Primary Voters Are Over 55.
Parents, teachers, and young adults - who are most impacted by the issues surrounding public education - are not voting when it matters the most - The Primaries. That’s why our leaders ignore the issues you care about most: the people deciding THEIR future jobs aren’t you. Don’t get us wrong, we love MeeMaw and PawPaw—but why let them be the only voices heard on election day?
PARENTS, EDUCATORS, AND PUBLIC EDUCATION SUPPORTERS FROM ALL PARTY AFFILIATIONS MUST SHOW UP TO VOTE ON AUGUST 25TH - there will be items on the ballot for EVERYONE.
SO WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1. Vote on August 25, 2026.
Make plans NOW to vote in the Oklahoma June primary election - commit yourself to showing up. 2. Gather your neighbors.
Mobilize your neighbors to join you at the polls on August 25th. Have a cookout. Knock doors in your neighborhood. Send text reminders and call all your contacts. Get your people to the polls!
3. Spread the word.
We need this movement to spread like wildfire - we need you to spread the word, spark the vote, & help us make it count in August! Share our social media posts. Write your local paper. Host a candidate forum.
THE CALL-TO-ACTION FOR AUGUST 25TH IS “TEN TO WIN” - talk to at least 10 of your people and get them out to vote that day!!!
